Had a lovely overnight stay at this hotel last night. Originally we were going to book it through another hotel booking site but when I checked the actual hotel website we discovered you get a free breakfast for the same price. Which in turn led us to booking a King room for a comfier stay and we were delighted with our choice. Had a lovely friendly welcome....from the owner I believe...and took advantage of the lovely yummy home made cake and tea on arrival that are served complimentary every day. Not far to walk into town for decent food of which there are numerous places to choose from and plenty of advice in the hotel information book in the room. Breakfast this morning was very tasty and served by a friendly member of staff. Also very handy to be able to leave our car in the car park this morning whilst we explored town. Would definitely recommend this place and stay again if we're ever in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Nice hotel, very big rooms. However no air con hence very warm during the night. Nice staff, good quality breakfast. Only a 5 min walk to the town centre.

Stayed here for two nights over the bank holiday. The room was just what we required with a very comfortable bed! The bathroom was very clean although midway through a shower one morning the water pressure went resulting in the water disappearing! This wasn’t ideal but after 5 or so minutes the water came back again. We had continental breakfast each morning which was of good variety and quality. I order poached eggs on toast each morning which were cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend Mannings Hotel. It was easy to find and is very central. Parking is excellent too.
I have been staying at Mannings on and off for several weeks now. I have found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The food is very good. Even at this time of the year, they have been busy. So make your reservations as early as possible. I would suggest that Mannings would probably not be very suitable for children. I would like to say a big thank you to Martin , in reception , he has been extremely helpful. To Nancy for being so attentive, at breakfast. Also to Jeanette and the chamber maids efficient and friendly. A special word to Lynn, Sam and Gwen would be very proud of you.

Fantastic selection of light summer food. Perfect for this heat! We had a small Scampi, some nachos and a lovely fried chicken salad which were all divine. Glasses were chilled for our wine and service was second to none. We will most certainly return regularly now we’ve found this place.
Visited as we walked by and saw the lovely outside space in the sun and couldn’t resist. Had a couple of drinks and some sandwiches for a light lunch and we were thoroughly impressed. Food was fabulous and the staff were so friendly and happy to give recommendations and discuss the local area with us. We will definitely be returning regularly and are so pleased we stumbled across this place!

Amazing. My family live in Truro and took us for a meal there. Food out of this world. One waitress was fab. I tipped the other £5. She never even thanked me. The food certainly made up for her rudeness. A fabulous example of the food. Amazing chef. Thank you.
Brilliant food. Great venue. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced.

Great atmosphere and filled with Cornish brews which was great. Peanut shells littered the floor akin to the Raffles peanut experience. Nice enough pub.
Service hospitality. With great selections of drinks that the pub crater for. And more. I am a Yorkshire man that love's his beer and this is the best brew of Cornwall.

I was booked into the Townhouse for a 1 night stay and was thoroughly impressed. The room was immaculately clean and very well presented with all the little extras that make a difference, toiletries, hairdryer, iron, kettle, it may seem obvious but when travelling light for business these items are essential. The welcome was friendly and informative and the breakfast/afternoon tea options superb. It is so nice to be left alone to dine or snack independently rather than being fussed over which can sometimes be too much for a frequent traveller. I was very impressed, will definitely recommend the Townhouse and absolutely will return.
Very nice b and b, massive bed very clean and tidy, lovely friendly landlady, loads of choice with the contenental breakfast.

This is a really great bnb. Bedrooms just right and breakfast kept me going all day. Really clean and tidy. Owners friendly and helpful. Would use again.
Really warm welcome and a very comfortable stay. Amazing cooked breakfast, perfect location for town & train links 😊
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Highly Recommend this lovely site This was our first visit to Summer Valley Touring Park and it won’t be our last, the site was always kept to an exceptional standard its location is ideal for travelling around Cornwall. On site facilities were always kept very clean during this busy holiday period and the additional of a children’s play area was a great hit. This is a great site set in a peaceful and tranquil setting. Kate and Phil were very friendly and approachable and had good knowledge of the area. Can’t wait to visit again next year
Two weeks here in a tent. I tried really hard to find something I didn't like about the site and failed. So why is it good? Hooks in the wash and shower cubicles! Hot showers! They were always cleaning the facilities. Family run park. Friendly owners. Worth a return visit.
