Lunch in the reasonably busy restaurant was good. The decor and lighting are relaxed and contemporary. The staff were attentive the dirty napkin at my place setting was replaced unapologetically. I had Thai green chicken curry which was very good, and my friends enjoyed their burger and tempura fish. Portion sizes seemed over generous to me. The puddings were delicious.
Visited for lunch and it was excellent. Food was delicious, really big menu to chose from and they had a gluten free menu for my sister. Everything was very reasonably priced. It's expensive for Truro, but not compared to London for example. Staff were very friendly. Really lovely people. All round a great lunchtime visit.

Middle of the town, can be difficult to get around 5 pm due to sheer traffic. This used to be a convent so the rooms are unusual and has the feel of a convent, in a nice way in my view. Simple but tasteful decor , my rooms looked like it had the original wardrobe and mirror. Restaurant had very nice food and the bar area and terrace was comfortable. Good parking and the receptionists were very helpful. I would visit again .
A lovely place close to the city. Excellent selection at the bar and really friendly staff. Food and disco at the Xmas party was a bit week.

Nice clean hotel within walking distance from the town centre. Staff are friendly & breakfast is lush. The hotel has some lovely features. There's plenty of free parking at the front & rear of the hotel, a laundry room, ironing boards in the hallways for convenience & it's dog friendly. Beds are so comfortable. It's a tad pricier than i usually pay, but worth it. You can't go wrong here. Recommend to anyone & I'm quite fussy. I'd come here again. Love it
Staff were very friendly on check in and our room was very comfy and cosy. At breakfast, the waitress was really lovely and accomodating and as couple with dietary issues (gluten and dairy) we found it really easy to order breakfast (which is normally really frustrating). Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. I ate here alone whilst visiting Truro for work and was made to feel thoroughly welcome. The food was superbly cooked and presented and the service was attentive whilst unobtrusive. I would highly recommend the Thomas Daniel for both dining and ambience and won't hesitate to return on my next visit.
Great atmosphere good food but high prices.

An excellent pub right in the middle of town. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere laid back. A good selection of beers. On our first visit to Truro we dropped in on spec and were surprised at how good the food is.
Superb selection of ales for the connoisseur in a proper olde worlde atmosphere. Highly recommended.

It was beautiful and great people with a cosy home that of a mansion so good regards Amari
It feels like a home, basically because it actually is one. Having a bit of a cold I found having access to a proper kitchen and being able to heat up my soup very nice. The old house is renovated in a bit of a shabby chic way. The bathrooms dont have marble but are still glamourous in their own way.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
