Excellent little cafe/restaurant, serves great range of vegan food options as well as excellent choice of teas and plant based milks. . We had a cream tea which was delicious. Can get very busy so might be worth booking for peak times, we went later afternoon so seating and service available, but could tell they had just served a large number of people. Cakes are brilliant. Must go if you're in the area.
Oh. My. Goodness. What a find! Incredible vegan food in a gorgeous little cafe. It is very intimate but they are very accommodating. Some great food on the menu and cakes in from the Little Green Bakery which are to die for! Highly recommend this place and really wish they'd open one up nearer to London..! May just have to relocate myself....!

This place has the best Chinese food in Truro. They were serving late after a complicated car sale and we were the only people there - we received excellent service and chat that was friendly but not overbearing and allowed us to enjoy our meal. The sesame prawn toast is the real deal! We will definitely be back!!
Excellent food and servicefour of us use The Yue as a pre theatre venue and have never been disappointed. Already booked for our next outing.

Couldn't sit inside as furniture being moved. Outside garden area lovely for a sunny day. Tapas excellent. Coffee a little cold. Staff friendly and efficient. I would certainly go back.
Had lunch here which was fabulous. Lovely range of cocktails. Now have a boner loyalty card as well. Would now like to try their evening menu. Staff very attentive

Superb food, fresh and full of flavour. Great staff who accommodated us. Friendly and generally quick service. Portions are an ok size, but it is a little on the expensive side even for a Londoner. Presentation is a little dated, as is the restaurant as whole. A good time was had regardless. Definitely one to visit if in need of a good curry.
I have been looking for an new Indian restaurant after a move from Wales. This is the best bar far in Truro. Perfect blend of spices and not too much oil. Friendly atmosphere from the staff. At long last a decent curry

Great food and didn’t have to wait a long time. Decor is great as well and price is good. Coming from a place where you have a lot of curry houses and by far this is probably one of the best ones I’ve had! Should come here!
Really enjoyed my meal here, staff were very polite and even allowed us to move tables away from a noisy table and apologized. Food was great, I do feel it was a little under spicy - The medium hot dish I selected was more mild in my opinion but tasted great all the same. Great decor, comfortable seats and well positioned tables. Decent value for money, would return!

The curry, the beer and the starters were authentic and excellent. Service was friendly and personable too. I would highly recommend this place and if I lived in the area I would make this place my regular. One of the best Indian/Napalese food restaurants I've had the pleasure of visiting.
Friendly staff and tasty food, what more can you ask for :)

I normally have nothing but praise for Ask but my views have been altered somewhat, following our last visit. Their customer service wasn't great! I had booked online for 2 adults, 2 children. When we arrived, the Manager said I had 2 children in the party- correct as we had a 13 and 14 year old with us! This apparently was an error on my part. They may have both looked like adults but technically, they are not. So my bad, I should've booked as 4 adults apparently! Oh and the staff were quite stressy.
Amazing food. Prompt and friendly service. Money off voucher always helps too.

This the best place for a proper Italian pizza or other Italian food. Always book as it gets busy. Great antipasto. Great meals and of course great desserts. Plus great coffee Italian. Good prices. A brilliant place for a birthday or anniversary.
Superb. Recommended without reservation. A well run family business. Care is taken with looking after customers and the food was without fault. I'm not easy to impress especially with Italian food, but we will be going again.

Have visited 4 or 5 times now for large group meals. Tapas has always been excellent and we'll priced at £12 a head. For 10+ people we got 9-10 large dishes. Venue is well situated and open good outdoor sitting areas. Staff are friendly and quick. Drinks are more on the pricey side but certainly worth it for a nice relaxing environment.
Great Tapas. A wide assortment of well cooked food at a good price. Great to have a leaving do or have a group of friends to share.

Like this place. Classic style. Buzzing. Large outdoor area with lots of seating. Great selection of drinks at reasonable price. Always friendly on the door. Staff don’t put up with nonsense which gets dealt with quickly.
Lovely place for lunch very nice pasta dish. Welcomed by friendly staff and a glass of chilled water while choosing our lunch and drinks. Second visit and will go again next time we visit Truro.

Lunchtime cafe visit. Nice and quiet, friendly staff and the food was fantastic (didn't know a steak sandwich could taste so good). The evening reviews might paint a different picture but the daytime cafe is perfect.
Prices are high for drinks inside, but the atmosphere and music is well worth the entry fee (£5).

Wonderful food, excellent value! Every dish had its own lovely flavour and between four of us we left absolutely nothing even though the portions were extremely generous. Highly recommended .😎👍🏻
Highly recommendable. Good service and very good food.

Good food. Excellent portion sizes for the money. Delivery took a little while, but was all piping hot which makes a nice change!
Great food and great service

I travel to Truro for work, once in two weeks and today I found this not so fancy restaurant near my office. I thought to give it a try and was amazed by the taste of the food. Value for money, good taste and hygienic. Salt was slightly on higher side for me because I prefer less salt however should be decent for other. Loads of options in the menu and the best part is, it is a family run business so you will get the traditional taste.
Still good, however I recall it being better a few years back, had run out of a load of the basics when we were there most recently.

Love the lounge! The menu offers a range of food to keep everyone happy, with a nice selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes, alongside children's meals! Sometimes there is a little wait when they're busy, but it's to be expected. Staff are always friendly and they have a lovely outdoor area to enjoy your lunch in the sunshine! Evening meals and cocktails are equally brilliant here - we've had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, in addition to nights out, birthday parties and baby showers and I can't fault the Lounge in any way!
Staff always helpful and cheery. Food always good. Great menu variety, caters for vegan and gluten free. Been many times, will continue to enjoy great food here

I visit this wonderful place on a regular occasion I love popping in and trying the amazing variety of homemade cake whilst walking the dog. I visited on Sunday and treated myself to a Sunday lunch which was definitely worth it's money, fresh vegetables, lovely tender beef and perfect Yorkshire puddings! Considering the amount of people in the tearoom on Sunday the food was outstanding. Reading some of the reviews on here is disappointing because I enjoy going every time and have never had a bad word to say. Maybe some people just go out to moan I'm not sure. Of course I'll be back!!
Met here today with around 8 other mums and babies, staff were so kind and accommodating of us, pushed tables together for us and made us welcome. Amazing coffee, lunch and cake too! High chairs for the little ones and a baby change. Right next to a beautiful duck pond and the park, ideal for a walk around after the cake!! Will certainly be coming again :)
Tippetts Backlet, Truro TR1 2TF, UK – 01872 277774
Love this place! Massive menu never fails to please. Gluten free options are gorgeous too. Proper home cooked food and you will be amazed our many options are available. God friendly service and reason prices too. 😍
Lovely freshly cooked food. Roast Lamb is to die for. Always our lunch stop when shopping in Truro
25 New Bridge St, Truro TR1 2AA, UK – 01872 277294
Oldest pub in Truro, and one of the best. Always has 3-4 well-kept ales on and at a decent price, especially in Happy Hour! Friendly, proper pub in the heart of the capital.
We had lunch they today I would recommend it to anyone Great value for money and a lovely place and friendly staff
Kenwyn St, Truro TR1 3DJ, UK – 01872 273334
Nice pit-stop for an afternoon sup. Food looks good but haven't tried it. Friendly staff and good facilities.
Excellent food. Different seating areas to accommodate all both inside and out. Friendly staff. What more could you ask for!!

Fantastic selection of light summer food. Perfect for this heat! We had a small Scampi, some nachos and a lovely fried chicken salad which were all divine. Glasses were chilled for our wine and service was second to none. We will most certainly return regularly now we’ve found this place.
Visited as we walked by and saw the lovely outside space in the sun and couldn’t resist. Had a couple of drinks and some sandwiches for a light lunch and we were thoroughly impressed. Food was fabulous and the staff were so friendly and happy to give recommendations and discuss the local area with us. We will definitely be returning regularly and are so pleased we stumbled across this place!
