We asked Mark Bolitho to undertake a major project to convert a small run down bungalow we had bought into a stunning 4/5 bed home making the most of the sea views that were available.Working from very basic drawings Mark was able to suggest ways we could maximise our space and at the same time save considerable amounts of money during the build.We had no hesitation in placing our trust in him,not only over the build but also when it came to the finance involved.Mark and his employees listened to any concerns we had and altered things around to suit our ,sometimes demanding,requirements. Have rented from Truro many times and always had the best service, great cars, good staff so cannot recommend them enough. Incredibly helpful when I couldn't return the car full due visa credit cards not working anywhere. Go out of my way to use them over other companies!!

I have used the Truro branch of Enterprise on several occasions whilst on holiday; i can only congratulate the staff for the excellent service I have received. I called in for a quote for a minor body repair. I was pleased by the courtesy of the staff and absolutely amazed that their expert managed to sort out the damage there and then. The car now looks as good as new. Many thanks. I will certainly keep them in mind should I need help with my car.

What a difference a review makes! a totaly smooth and pleasant visit was had by my XC70, Simon the previously mentioned "pompous" service adviser, was helpful and informative, the courtesy car was, although outwardly needing a quick blast over with the Power Wash located 20mtrs away, presented at the door with plenty of fuel, so searching for a garage before getting off on your way, Simon explaining some of the control's, paperwork signed off I went to return at 17:00 as advised. At approximately 15:30 my mobile phone, "hatu matu"ed its jungle for now until my intrest wains, demanded my attention, upon answering a very polite Simon informed me that XC70 was ready and if i wanted to collect early I may, this option a took up as i had also finished buisness for the day. The journey from our Country pile to Truro Volvo Via the Shell refuelling station and attached mini hypermarket was uneventful upon reaching Volvo, XC70 was just being parked in the customer parking area, XC's Magic Blue paintwork gleaming in the mid afternoon sunshine. Simon greeted with a pleasant smile and upon beconing to sit proceded after the accustomed pleasantries to run through what works had been done to XC, he then showed me to XC explaining a couple of items in the settings menu of XC's onboard computer that I had asked about. His knowlege of said system was fantastic and he explained in a way that even this "self confessed luddite" could understand. So in conclusion and without prejudice I have to give TRURO VOLVO New score of 4 out of 5 loosing that final star because of the muddy courtesy car, a not so surprising turnaround as i did predict i believe that it was within TRURO Volvo's abilitys to deliver excelent service.

I've been hiring with about for a while. Currently renting a Peugeot 2008 on a 17 plate. From the very first car I've had with them, right until now, I'm super happy with them. The car park I'm reviewing is not listed in your choices it's Hayle hospital in Cornwall, your machine had developed a fault and Peter your attendant offered to get people's ticket from an alternative machine to save them from walking that distance, he was so respectful, and concerned for everyone effected and apologies given to each customer on behalf of your company. What a great employee, a reward for such levels of care would be justified in my opinion, as I waited for my charge to return from treatment I observed his dedication over several hours. Once again his name was Peter, with the machine repaired he went off to carry out his duties elsewhere. A lasting impression of quality remains with me. Thanks.

I contacted PJE Plumbers due to having cold water! He arrived within 2 hours of my call which was great. He was prompt and courteous. He quickly located the problem which was the need for a new thermostat, and fixed it. His fee was very reasonable and he contacted me later to make sure that all was OK. I would recommend him!

I purchased a 12 core video editing monster after walking past the window and seeing one of their builds, prior to that I was about to spend more money on a far inferior prebuilt system online. Jim REALLY knows his stuff and gave fantastic advice, one look at his chair tells you all you need to know about his dedication to building amazing tailor made pc's, its what swung it for me! Seriously good service and incredible value for money.

I had many email chats with Jim leading up to the purchase of a new computer, and his advice and knowledge and ability to recommend something to fit my budget and technical requirements was superb. So refreshingly nice to find somewhere where they "really know their onions". Highly recommended.

Last week I bought a MacBook ex demo. As its charger was getting hot I took it in for a look. Initially the people I dealt with were unhelpful and unfriendly (the older guy behind the desk could clearly not be bothered to speak to me) but finally one younger fellow sorted the problem and was incredibly helpful and kind and found a solution to the problem. A game of two halves.

Came in this week to buy a MacBook after doing some research, and it was a leisurely breeze. The guy who served me, whose name I think was Liam, was really helpful and took me through the whole finance process step by step. Their finance plan is tremendous and the application process is easy to understand right the way through. Myself and my wife have bought laptops from Stormfront and both times the service has been great. I highly recommend them.

The only thing that lets this store down is the lack of staff when you need some help. Saying that, the staff, when you find one are friendly and helpful. One more thing to watch out for is they sometimes don't update their website often, as several times have visited the store to pick up an item they say they have in stock, only to find they do not, and hadn't for a while.

We recently had a new website designed by the team at Sharkfin. Jon, Jay and Dan are awesome!! Website looks great and is getting plenty of traffic. Website, SEO, Google, flyer design, and photos care of Dan, it's all fantastic here!! After a boiler annual service, faults were found which warranted a new boiler installation. The installation was carried out within days to a very high standard. We highly recommend The Duchy Gas Team.

Air con recharge that was booked in advance. The staff were friendly and efficient. It took an hour and the car is now colder. Good value and great service.

Pre booked a comprehensive service, enquired regarding the price as it says from.. given a rough price which was cheaper when I went to collect always a bonus! I mentioned a concern that potentially front brakes needed replacing this wasn't the case (even better gone have the days garages rip you off!) offered a price on new tyres as I already knew they were getting close. The chaps were great & Mark kept me informed when the vehicle was ready & fully knowledgeable which gives confidence!

Needed some new outlets installed and DB Electrical was able to get it sorted quickly for a great price. Even hoovered up debris from some required drilling. Couldn't be happier.

We rented through KPS for just under a year. Despite the property we rented being in poor repair with outdated white goods (furnished) they fought for us at every step to get things repaired and replaced. (We had boiler, washing machine, fridge, oven heating element replaced as well as other repairs). They have been absolutely brilliant, contactable and kept us in the loop at all times. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

My experience with getting support and getting a mortgage has been a really great experience (as buying a house goes!) Darren has been absolutely incredible from start to finish. Darren has always been at the end of the phone via call or text or email to support and give his knowledge throughout the process. Darren is friendly, professional, trustworthy and down to earth and will explain things in a way that you actually understand. And doesn’t make you feel stupid with asking any questions with regards to the mortgage/ process. Myself and my partner would highly recommend Darren to anyone that is considering a mortgage or needs some advice on where to start. We had a rough beginning due to our credit score but Darren was approachable and understanding and tried his best to try and work around the credit situation- unfortunately we had to wait until it had cleared, but after that Darren wasted no time in getting us a mortgage. June, the owner, is a wonderful hairdresser - very experienced and she is super friendly and easy going. I would recommend this place as the most relaxing AND proficient place to go if you want expert haircare in the best setting.

Okay guys - I've been twice now and both times the haircut has been good. However, both times the "banter" between two of the barbers has been inappropriate bordering on intimidating with lots of children in the room. Keep cutting, show a bit of respect to the clients and all will be fine. Somethings are best discussed in private.

I started having my hair cut here about a year ago and I being my 4 year old son with me who was 3 the first time they cut his hair. Everyone we have had cut our hair has been great and my son enjoys the experience. I cannot praise them highly enough.

Went to The Comfort Zone today for my first ever colour. I'm so pleased with the result - it's very subtle, and just what I asked/hoped for... I felt completely at ease and my stylist was obviously very experienced, skilled, and oozed professionalism and confidence. I'd HIGHLY recommend this salon. I would like to congratulate and say thank you to both the refuse and recycling teams who collected where we live [off Porthpean Road] yesterday. Because of an early collection the majority of residents put out their collection overnight. In the middle of Wednesday night/Thursday morning the gusting of the wind blew the recycling and wheel bins over the footpaths and roads. After the collection of re-cycling and refuse nobody would have known that there had been any problems. Thank you to you all and a very Happy New Year

Tony and the boys were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. We moved from Oxfordshire to Cornwall and down a very narrow dirt track but they pulled the stops out for us. It was a pleasure having them do the job. Lots of tea and a smile is all they need to charge their batteries.

Couldn't have asked for a more efficient removal team than Dan and the guys. It was pouring with rain the whole day yet they remained cheerful throughout, nothing was too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend.

This is difficult, I'm a reasonably regular at a very local rival to Curry Inn, who I have rated fairly high. I only used Curry Inn as their menu dropped through my door today. I'm of Indian decent and of a good age. Thank you Curry Inn I really enjoyed my meal I'd rate it better than your near rival. Early days to definitely say your better, only time will tell. The one thing I hope to see is consistency something lacking in your rivals. 4.7/5.0 from me. See you soon..

Turns out that the "other firms" pretended to be Cornish businesses but in fact are National companies based in Leeds and Nottingham with no local knowledge. Simpsons are a Cornish firm and have been trading here in Cornwall since 1978. Well done you!

The vets there are very caring and they listen to everything you say. They keep tabs on each dog, we have 3. They are very gentle with the animals and are very good at diagnosis and treatment. They always have a smile to greet you and your pet.
