awesome selection of books, pretty much everything. There is a price you pay for getting exactly what. The full price.. Which won't be a problem for most people, but for students or other people around my age group. this might be a little out of your budget range. Especially if you are like me and just want to buy everything.. There are so many amazing second hand bookshops, every book has another story for another person. Waterstones gives amazing advice and excellent service! I really enjoyed having a little brunch there with my friends. Excellent value aswell. In the end I got out of the shop with a beautiful Parker pen, a full belly and a smile on my face. I'd definitely recommend Waterstones to anyone interested in anything that could have something to do with Books.

Good book shop with extensive stock and excellent, knowledgeable staff. Exceptionally nice coffee shop upstairs managed very well by Andy and his lovely colleagues. A bonus to have gluten free toast and always a selection of vegan cakes plus all the usual stuff - highly recommended.

My favourite shop ever. If you can't fund what you want the owner will find it for you. If you love books you will love this shop.

Busy store on the quiet - staff helpful.

I popped in on the off-chance when a headlight blew. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. My car is a real pain in the rear end for headlight's, its a tricky fitting, but they were great about doing it.

What a difference a review makes! a totaly smooth and pleasant visit was had by my XC70, Simon the previously mentioned "pompous" service adviser, was helpful and informative, the courtesy car was, although outwardly needing a quick blast over with the Power Wash located 20mtrs away, presented at the door with plenty of fuel, so searching for a garage before getting off on your way, Simon explaining some of the control's, paperwork signed off I went to return at 17:00 as advised. At approximately 15:30 my mobile phone, "hatu matu"ed its jungle for now until my intrest wains, demanded my attention, upon answering a very polite Simon informed me that XC70 was ready and if i wanted to collect early I may, this option a took up as i had also finished buisness for the day. The journey from our Country pile to Truro Volvo Via the Shell refuelling station and attached mini hypermarket was uneventful upon reaching Volvo, XC70 was just being parked in the customer parking area, XC's Magic Blue paintwork gleaming in the mid afternoon sunshine. Simon greeted with a pleasant smile and upon beconing to sit proceded after the accustomed pleasantries to run through what works had been done to XC, he then showed me to XC explaining a couple of items in the settings menu of XC's onboard computer that I had asked about. His knowlege of said system was fantastic and he explained in a way that even this "self confessed luddite" could understand. So in conclusion and without prejudice I have to give TRURO VOLVO New score of 4 out of 5 loosing that final star because of the muddy courtesy car, a not so surprising turnaround as i did predict i believe that it was within TRURO Volvo's abilitys to deliver excelent service.

Currently sat here after missing connecting bus to Newquay. I'm new to Cornwall and just come from Royal Cornwall Hospital. Literally stuck in an area late at night. Lady in the Shell garage has pulled me up a chair and made me a brew (damaged spine issues) she is keeping me safe until someone drives from Newquay to collect me. Thankyou so so much for looking out for me darling. Xx

Convenience store selling a small range of products inc Milk, bread, sweets, crisps, newspapers, drinks. Some car related stuff like stinky things, screenwash etc. No parking other than at the pumps. Can get congested onto the roundabout at busy times. No car wash.

It's a petrol station. Unleaded and diesel but no LPG, sadly. Lovely staff, always clean and tidy. The shop sells a good selection of refreshments.

It's was what you might expect from boots however I had to wait for 7 minutes in a queue whilst a person working at boots had her back to the line doing a stock take. Maybe she didn't have the proper authority to take payments on the till but to at least acknowledge that we were there would've been nice

Modern glass building with unrivalled views of the a30 and McDonald's. I went to buy some socks, purchased size 7-11 but when I got home they were tiny. Returned to the store and realised the men's department was upstairs, I'd bought toddlers socks, had a nice Paw Patrol design though.

Walking in and trying on couple suits with staff's warm greeting and nice attitude towards us. Even though we didn't buy any at last, definitely will come by again for the nice service.

Fantastic quality clothing and superb service from a very friendly team. A good range of labels particularly in the menswear and lingerie departments. Cornwall is lucky to have a shop like Trevails. Has a nice feel about it.

Personally I always find everyone very friendly and helpful, I always enjoy a chat to Ann the Manager and if I need anything I can usually find it. Yes the experience is good overall. However trying to place an order should be much more straightforward & less time consuming so maybe the system should be a little more customer friendly (just a thought)

Me and my mother went into the truro shop today...wat a joy!...looking for an outfit for my mum to wear to my wedding...i think the assistant was called Michelle? Lovely lady.. talked my mum into a dress she would never have chosen for herself...and looked amazing.. (my mum is 79 this year!)..thank u so much ladies xx

I have been using SeaDog IT for our holiday cottage web page for a number of years. I am very impressed by their professionalism and the quality of their work. I have had many compliments over the years from visitors saying how good they think the site is. Whenever I have requested an alteration to the site SeaDog IT have been prompt at carrying out the work and coming up with suggestions on how to make the most of the photographs and content.

Seadog IT have hosted my website for a number of years. They advised i should move to a Gsuite email system and to also make my website SSL compliant. All done with the minimum of fuss and no loss of time. Excellent service and reassuring to know they are within easy reach by telephone.

This is the small items shop in Truro (there's a second store for large items such as furniture). Range of items seems to slowly be dropping but range within an item improving. If they have the type of thing you're looking for then you will usually find something to suit. Best ranges at present; jewellery, candles, draw/cupboard knobs & photo frames.

What a lovely shop, sells all sorts of original gifts & clothing. Did lots of my Christmas shopping!

Lovely place, magnificent. Not sure who is doing the 1 star review on this, seems cowardly. I'm an atheist but can appreciate how lovely this building is without getting bogged down in the whole - organised religion is ridiculous and has no place in modern society - thing.

Excellent shop. Spent a good hour looking at the plastic model kits. Not many shops sell these anymore apart from online. A very good toy selection too.

Large items of furniture, good prices. Had to park on the yellow line outside and keep half an eye on the car. Open Sundays, though so you're free to park outside then.

The service is excellent and prices are more than competitive; infinitely better quality than the 'sheds' etc., and almost always much cheaper. Bay has been my preferred supplier for many years. I have to go to others very occasionally but they do not compare. Barrie also has a broad professional knowledge that is so helpful.

Knowledgeable staff and helpful on our 2nd visit, our 1st visit was not a good one so lucky for them it improved on their 2nd chance.

The only thing that lets this store down is the lack of staff when you need some help. Saying that, the staff, when you find one are friendly and helpful. One more thing to watch out for is they sometimes don't update their website often, as several times have visited the store to pick up an item they say they have in stock, only to find they do not, and hadn't for a while.

Great variety, same as normal Holland & Barrett stores really. If you haven't visited a store before, you really should try it out. The prices can seem high but they run plenty of promotions during the year that apply to all their products so it's worth waiting a few weeks to get the best prices. I regularly visit just to check out new products and get ideas for use around my home & kitchen

Health food shop with eco products (including refill station!) PLUS there's a super tasty vegan and vegetarian cafe upstairs I had the vegan breakfast, it was super tasty and way nicer than I had anticipated. Definitely coming back! Cakes and coffee too Oat milk is available though not on their menu

Was disappointed about a year ago to find menu had been changed leaving little choice. Now however....fabulous . Great menu again with very pleasing variety. All looks and tastes fabulous . Fairly priced too and staff are very efficient, friendly and accommodating . An all around satisfying experience

Purchased my weddings from here. Fantastic service - couldn't of asked for better.

I've been here a couple of times and each time have had fantastic customer service. I recently went there to purchase a watch for my father and I wasn't sure what I was looking for. The store worker got out countless amount of watches and spent all the time needed to help me make a selection. He also brought to my attention that the shop does price match and then went and priced match the watch I picked. And he reduced it by almost £70 and this watch was under £200 to start with.

Came into the store in Truro today. I went in to see if my Pandora ring could be sent of to be repaired. I was greeted by a lovely lady called Tracey. Immediately she offered to replace my broken ring and my friends charm which had stones come out of it. Very very pleased with the amazing service my Tracey and the other ladies in the store. We will be back into to buy more charms soon. Thank you again and it's amazing what Fab customer service does. Made my day, thank you Tracey. You deserve that holiday! Xx

Good range of everything for the outdoors. Well located near Truro centre though parking is about five minutes away. It's generally true that you get what you pay for and the quality is good. There may be some good buys but everything I went to look for was full retail. However, they do have some brands such as Scarpa boots, you won't find in stores that only do their own brand. If you have the money you'll find good quality and, long term, that can prove good value.

Always helpful staff, friendly and approachable. Good wide range of items & the ability to do click & collect on webpage buys. Staff will also help you to your car with large or heavy items. Vet on site able to deal with a wide range of different animals, including some rarer types (personal experience), would be able to advise on where to go if they can't deal with your particular animal.

This is my favourite invert and reptile shop. They have a variety of different stick insects, (phasmids) arachnids, lizards, geckos, decorations such as driftwood, bark, substrates and plants. Staff are very helpful. Recommended for any exotic pet needs.

Ok. Don't like shopping here cos of the way staff are treated but they offer value for basic sports goods. Staff are generally helpful, when u can find someone.

After all the “proper” sport trainer shops in Plymouth have shut, I wanted advice and expertise on the right trainers for my activity so I took the hours trip to Whirlwind in Truro - which was absolutely worth the time and effort. A really good selection of women’s trainers but MOST importantly really good advice and recommendations from the staff who really know their business. Excersise trainers are (in my humble view and at my slightly older age) a health item not a fashion piece. The Nike trainers that were recommended are amazing, fit and support perfectly and after testing them in a Bodycombat class, they are probably the best pair I’ve bought for the activity I do .....no aches or pains the next day. Staff were pleasant as well as knowledgeable and as a bonus they let me bring my cocker spaniel in with me. Great shop, I will be going back unless a Whirlwind opens up in Plymouth!

Smiths is great, still going after everything the recession could throw at it. Really hope having the post office in house will be a big support for them. At the moment they've got some great deals on board games etc. It's great to still be able to support such a worthwhile company.

I have visited Senso several times and have always found them very knowledgeable, helpful, and with a good range of equipment. Acting on their advice and with no prior audition, my wife purchased a pair of audiophile grade headphones for my birthday. It turns out they are exceptionally good, far exceeding my expectations. It seems they know what they are talking about. This is a business to trust. Highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend Penny. Her experience and skill made having her do my make up on my wedding day an absolute pleasure. She put me at ease and was so reassuring – exactly what I needed when I was stressed in planning the wedding and anxious on the day. My bridesmaid, mum and my mother-in-law all felt comfortable with her. My mum was especially worried about looking natural, and she was really happy with the result. Penny’s products looked great and were kind to the skin. She was kind and fun throughout the experience and really made the whole process super easy.
